Case Study

Power2Ukraine

Our flagship project, P2U, is dedicated to building a resilient, local and sustainable energy service that communities can manage independently. The P2U pilot initiative will use an innovative funding model using Web3 tokenomics and a Development Impact Bond, ensuring all financial transactions are transparent, fair and take account of commitments from all local stakeholders. Through this approach, local communities can oversee their energy needs and tailor the system to address their unique challenges.

The people in the community are also in charge of deciding who gets our military-grade battery packs, which are delivered to areas that suffer from frequent blackouts caused by Russian attacks.

Sustainable Communities with Decentralised Infrastructure

ZipOps leverages Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) to empower local communities with sustainable energy and mobility solutions.

1

Development Impact Bond (DIB) & DAO Governance

Our DIB financing, combined with DAO governance, brings transparency, accountability, and equitable funding to social impact projects, fostering long-term community resilience.

2

Power to Ukraine (P2U) Pilot Initiative

The P2U initiative provides essential, user-governed, locally managed renewable energy services, promoting sustainable and self-sufficient energy networks.

3

W3 & DePIN Hardware Integration

ZipOps integrates cutting-edge W3 technology with DePIN hardware, backed by RWA investors, to build financially and operationally sustainable community infrastructures.

4

Local Ownership & Management Control

Our decentralised services enhance energy security, foster asset ownership, and empower communities with greater control over local resources and management.

Empowering Change through Donor Impact

As a Donor within the ZipOps project ecosystem, your contribution goes beyond merely funding - it directly fuels sustainable, life-changing projects like the Power to Ukraine (P2U) initiative.

Your Role with Zip Utility Tokens (ZUT)

By purchasing Zip Utility Tokens (ZUT), all donors are entitled to decide where they allocate their project funding via Donor Token Pools (DTPs). DTP's are designed to incentivise and sustain each project's early-stage ecosystem, creating a robust network of motivated participants.

Supporting Local Beneficiaries

A purchase of ZUT and allocation into a DTP supports local beneficiaries by solving the perennial project 'cold-start' problem. It also rewards Real World Asset (RWA) investors for early-stage project risks, likely encouraging further investment into critical local DePIN infrastructure.

Empowering Community Volunteers

Allocations of ZUT into DTPs recognize contributions made by local volunteers, such as those working in Community Energy Service (CES) or Community Mobility Service (CMS). This support extends to local efforts and fosters community-led impact.

Impact-Based Token Release

The Project Lead benefits as tokens release only upon meeting specific contractual milestones under a Pay-by-Results (PbR) model, managed through the project's Smart Contract and tied to the Develop Impact Bond. This ensures that every donation accelerates progress while rewarding commitment.

Smart Contract-based release of ZUT from DTPs guarantees that every contribution drives tangible social impact, making sustainable project development a collective endeavor.

Solutions for Community Energy and Mobility

At ZipOps, we're dedicated to empowering communities to take control of their energy and mobility needs through innovative, decentralised business models.

Access Community Funding from DePIN Investors

Our Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) model allows communities to access flexible funding options that can be tailored to deliver their roof-top solar energy needs. These solar installations then power household battery services or CMS fleet mobility services. Financing of these community-driven initiatives will be supported by our Real-World Asset (RWA) investors. ZipOps will provide operational and management support to CES/CMS start-up communities through mutually agreed contracts.

Community Energy Services

ZipOps supports local communities in establishing a Community Energy Service (CES) franchise to plan, establish, and operate roof-top Solar Charging Stations (SCS). Roof-top SCS's enable households to receive local Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) delivery services to support them in situations where they are "off-gridded" by attacks on grid services. BaaS provides reliable, resilient energy options, delivered "free at the point of use" through donor funding via Development Impact Bonds (DIBs). BaaS reduces dependency on the centralised power grid.

Community Mobility Services

ZipOps assists communities in establishing an electric vehicle fleet via shared ownership models. These EV services can then be offered to local stakeholders - municipalities as well as local residents, via a local Community Mobility Service (CMS) franchise. The CMS franchise will access resilient, affordable and sustainable local energy delivered by collaborating with the local CES franchise. The CMS and CES will use a combined Community Governance Model (CGM) operated via a DAO structure to ensure transparency, fairness and collaborative local decision-making to enable highly integrated energy and mobility operations.
